A. General University Scholarship (GUS) Application for Continuing Students ( FAO)

The General University Scholarship (GUS) Application for Continuing Undergraduate students was established to receive applications for the GUS program, administered by the UM Financial Aid Office. To be eligible, students must submit the General Application Essay on “Why Education is Important”. Students are automatically matched with this scholarship opportunity, and there are no additional questions beyond the General Application.

The Deadline for Application is FEBRUARY 15, 2018. If selected for a GUS, students will be notified in Mid-May of 2018, with further information about the donor(s) who gave to the UM General University Scholarship Program.

Applications are reviewed each spring by the General University Scholarship Committee. The Committee is comprised of faculty and staff from various disciplines across campus.Over 200,000 in scholarships will be awarded each year. General University Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of donors to the University of Montana Foundation.
