Beighle Family Scholarship

The purpose of the Beighle Family Scholarship is to provide an annual award to a deserving incoming freshman selected on the basis of good academic progress. The recipient must be, in order of priority: 1. A recent Powell County High School graduate from Deer Lodge, or 2. If no qualified incoming freshman is identified, then an upperclassman at UM who graduated from Powell County High School may be considered, and 3. Selection should not be made on the basis of academic achievement. The purpose of the scholarship is to help “B” level students get a start at college.
