Kate Orchard Award

The purpose of the Kate Orchard Award is to provide an annual award to a graduate of St. Ignatius High School or Ronan High School who will be an incoming freshman at The University of Montana. The recipient must have financial need and a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Selection will be based on character and a letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher addressing the applicant’s determination and motivation. Although it is not a requirement, Mrs. Hall indicated she prefers that applicants majoring in subjects such as English, foreign languages or the sciences be given special consideration.
