Jerry and Alice Craghead Wilderness Studies Scholarship

The Fund will provide scholarships to University of Montana students in the W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation program according to the following guidelines: The recipient shall be enrolled in the Wilderness and Civilization program or pursuing the Wilderness Studies Minor. If there are no qualified undergraduate applicants, the scholarship may be awarded to a graduate student working on a wilderness research project. Preference shall be given to those applicants who currently are serving, or have served as wilderness rangers in U.S. Forest Service Region 2.
