Bitterroot College Bootstrap Scholarship

The Bitterroot Bootstrap Scholarship will provide scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate students in the Bitterroot College according to the following guidelines: Recipients must meet the following requirements:
a. Must reside in Ravalli County and be considered a non-traditional student
b. Must have completed a minimum of nine college credits earned at an accredited college with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or greater and completion of 70% of courses attempted (not including remedial courses).
c. Must be enrolled in a minimum of six college credits at the Bitterroot College and working toward a degree path.
d. Must show proof of providing support for one or more children age 15 or under and/or elderly family member (claimed as dependent(s) on taxes).
e. Must prove estimated family contribution of $0.00 (zero) as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Provided funding is available, scholarships can be renewed for up to four semesters as long as eligibility is maintained. Scholarship amounts may change depending on the number of credits taken each semester.
