Vicki Watson Public Interest Environmental Science (PIES) Scholarship

The Fund will provide scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate or graduate students in the Environmental Studies Program who demonstrate that they are pursuing a course of study, research and action that applies public interest environmental science to building a more peaceful, just and sustainable local community and world. Awards will be made according to the following guidelines. Recipient selection: Eligible recipients include students enrolled in or accepted to the Environmental Studies Program. Awards will be based on community service/action, course of study and academic merit. Research projects or plans shall be considered in evaluating graduate student applications. Preference may be given to eligible students who are close to graduating.
