Grace and John Lawler Pharmacy Scholarship
The Fund shall be used to provide scholarships for students with financial need who are enrolled in the Skaggs School of Pharmacy at The University of Montana. Preference will be given to Montana residents who have graduated from a Montana high school. Qualified applicants must have completed the second year of the professional pharmacy program and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the program while having a University cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must demonstrate compassion for others and/or have humanitarian qualities to be considered for the award. We would like the recipients to be of sound moral character and have strong values who are involved with community or campus service. A special consideration shall be given to students who have expressed a desire to practice in Montana. In addition, special consideration shall be given to those students who have been involved with scouting programs (i.e. Eagle Scouts) or venture programs. A statement shall be provided by the applicants that lists their involvement in humanitarian and scouting activities.
