The Cook Family Scholarship/Missoula Symphony Association

The Fund will provide scholarships to School of Music students according to the following guidelines:
1. Recipient selection: Students pursuing a music major in the School of Music String Department and performing with the Missoula Symphony Orchestra. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be a resident of the state of Montana. New scholarship funding may be awarded to incoming freshmen and may be renewed for up to three additional years, provided funding is available. To remain eligible for the scholarship, students must remain in good standing with the School of Music.
2. Responsibility for selection: Awarding The Cook Family Scholarship/Missoula Symphony Association shall be the responsibility of the scholarship selection committee appointed by the director of the School of Music. The committee shall determine the amounts of the scholarship awards and the recipients. Up to four students may receive the scholarship during any academic year.
