Dr. D.W. and Suzanne L. Johnson Family Internship Support Fund
The Fund will provide support to University of Montana undergraduate and graduate students (including those participating in national and international exchange programs) according to the following guidelines: Undergraduate and graduate students who are participating in an internship for which they will receive academic credit. While graduate students may be considered, preference will be given to undergraduate students. Financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid Office or its equivalent in existence at the time of the award should be a critical consideration. Preference will also be given to honors track and high achieving students in one or more of the following areas:
- a. Biology or students enrolled under the Division of Biological Sciences with options (concentrations) such as Biology Education or Field Ecology;
- b. W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation students in the following areas: Environmental Science and Sustainability, Ecosystems (including Plant Ecology), and Wildlife Biology;
- c. Music and theatre – with a preference for musical theatre and music education;
- d. Social Work;
- e. Public and Community Health – not to include Pre-Med students or public health certificates; and,
- f. Honors College students enrolled in programs at the Flathead Lake Biological Station should also be considered.
