Dirk and Kim Visser Scholarship in Art

The Dirk and Kim Visser Scholarship in Art is to provide scholarships for outstanding students at The University of Montana in the School of Art whose work demonstrates excellence in one of the emphases within the School – such as painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, printmaking, ceramics. Additionally, each recipient is encouraged to give a piece that best represents his or her work to the Visser family foundation so the foundation can display or auction the piece, with any proceeds to be directed back to the scholarship. In this way, the recipients will help to enhance and perpetuate the scholarship, and their work will be in the eye of the public.
