Greta Wrolstad Travel Award

The Fund shall be used to provide an award to an outstanding poet in the first or second year of the M.F.A. program within the Creative Writing Program at The University of Montana. The award is for support of travel during the summer or academic year to a writing workshop, conference, or residency in the U.S. or abroad. Candidates should apply to the Creative Writing Program by February 1st to ensure that the financial award is granted prior to their departure date. Applicants do not need to show financial need to be eligible for this award. The award should be made at $1,000 or more to provide meaningful support for the recipient.
