Jack and Isabel Haynes Scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to support undergraduate scholarships using the following guidelines:
1) Scholarship recipients shall be determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Recipients shall be formally admitted to the University; shall demonstrate need; shall have a minimum grade point average of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale; shall be a graduate of a Montana High School and a resident of Montana. An exception to the Montana residency and graduate of a Montana High School may be made for a member of the military and immediate family. Student athletes participating in an NCAA sanctioned sport and/or those pursuing a music degree are not eligible for the scholarship. The awards shall be a minimum of $2,000 and shall not exceed the amount of the University’s annual tuition.
The award may be renewable if the recipient meets all of the scholarship requirements and continues to be the best candidate. The Donor’s intent is to distribute the available scholarships over all four undergraduate classes.
