Dufresne Foundation Montana University System Honors Scholarship

The Dufresne Foundation Honors Scholarship shall be used to provide two-year scholarships for one or more University of Montana students who are also receiving the MUS Honors Scholarship (tuition waiver). The award(s) are provided to students in support of their junior and senior years of study. An MUS Honors Scholarship is approximately equal to tuition and registration fees, and is renewable annually, provided the scholar maintains a 3.4 GPA at UM at the end of each academic year and demonstrates progress toward a degree by completing at least 30 credit hours after two semesters, 60 credit hours after four semesters, and 90 credits hours after six semesters. If the student is not able to obtain the credits or GPA required for progress toward a degree due to circumstances beyond his/her control, the student may appeal to the Financial Aid Office. The student may receive support from the Fund for no more than four continuous academic (fall/spring) semesters.
