William and Thelma Walker Scholarship

The purpose of the William and Thelma Walker Scholarship is to provide scholarships for disadvantaged students at The University of Montana, with preference given to those students who are from diverse populations. Scholarships shall be awarded based on a combination of financial need (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid), academic performance and community service. Additionally, applicants must submit an essay describing how they meet the above criteria, and an unofficial copy of their transcript.
