WestSlope Chapter of Trout Unlimited Scholarship
The Fund will provide two annual scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Forestry and Conservation according to the following guidelines: Each scholarship shall be awarded to a student whose studies and/or anticipated career most closely fit the mission of Trout Unlimited to conserve, protect, and restore North America’s cold water fisheries and their watersheds. One scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate and one scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student.
Each undergraduate recipient must be in his or her junior year in the fall of academic year of the award and each graduate student must have completed one semester in a graduate program by the fall of the academic year of the award.
Each scholarship recipient will be required to submit an essay of approximately 500 words by the conclusion of the fall semester. The article will be considered for possible inclusion in the newsletter of the WestSlope Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
