Jerry L. Madden Memorial Scholarship for Journalistic Ethics

The Fund will provide scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate or graduate students in the School of Journalism according to the following guidelines: Recipients must be in good academic standing. Preference will be given to the student with the highest grade in the First Amendment and Journalism Law class (or its equivalent in existence at the time of the award) who also demonstrates a deep understanding and respect for the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and the role of ethics in journalism.
