D.J. Shults Journalism Scholarship

The D.J. Shults Journalism Scholarship provides two annual scholarships to outstanding students from Big Sandy High School enrolled as journalism majors at UM. Students must have evidence of high school or college records, transcripts, test scores and letters of recommendation. If there is no qualifying student from Big Sandy High School, the award may be given to a student from any other Choteau County High School, or any other Montana high school, in that order of preference. Towns in Choteau county are Big Sandy, Boneau, Box Elder, Carter, Fort Benton, Geraldine, Highwood, Loma and Parker.
