Gertrude and Henry Loeffler Scholarship

The Fund shall provide scholarships for students at The University of Montana who are majoring in music. Scholarships will be awarded based on talent. Although financial need is not a requirement, it should serve as a tie-breaker if there are two otherwise equally qualified students. Financial need is determined by the Office of Financial Aid need-analysis. In addition, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for scholarship eligibility established by the School of Music. A scholarship selection committee appointed by the Chair of the
School of Music shall determine the amounts of the scholarship awards and the recipients. One meaningful award, rather than several smaller awards, is preferred.
