Baker-Black Scholarship

The Fund will provide scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate students according to the following guidelines: Incoming freshmen, with a grade point average of 3.0 or greater, who are graduates of public high schools in one of the following Montana counties: Teton, Glacier, Pondera and Toole. The Baker-Black Scholarship awards cover the full cost of tuition and may only be used for undergraduate in-state tuition at the University of Montana. Therefore, students who have accepted other tuition waivers or scholarships that will be applied to tuition are not eligible for Baker-Black Scholarships. Recipients will not be precluded from accepting awards to cover expenses outside of tuition including, but not limited to, room, board, books or travel awards. This is a tuition-designated scholarship. As such, a student cannot receive this if they are receiving any other tuition-designated scholarship.

The scholarship is renewable for an additional three years beyond the initial award, providing funding is available and the recipient remains eligible based on the selection criteria noted above.

Baker-Black Scholarship awards may not be used for athletic scholarships.
