Helen Roberti Humanities Graduate Scholarship for Native American Students

This graduate scholarship will be awarded through a competitive process to a highly qualified Native American student seeking to pursue interdisciplinary Ph.D. studies in the humanities with a focus on native American history, culture or literature. The successful applicant will be selected by the faculty of UM’s Native American Studies Department. In addition to three years of academic study, the Helen Roberti Scholar will participate in a one-year administrative internship with the president or dean at a Native American college.
