Dr. Tom Nimlos Memorial Scholarship

The Fund will provide scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate or graduate students in the W. A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation according to the following guidelines: Preference shall be given to those students with an academic focus in soil science, students that have or are interested in serving with the Peace Corps or students interested in international conservation work in South America. Students who demonstrate a high level of integrity and a devotion to social justice shall be preferred. Tom Nimlos was a man of such integrity and honesty that he inspired others to do the same. This scholarship is intended to continue his legacy.
