Dailey Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship

The Fund will provide scholarships to University of Montana undergraduate students on the Missoula campus according to the following guidelines: The Fund shall be used to provide scholarships for two University of Montana students on the Missoula campus to study abroad in countries where English is not commonly spoken and where the student would necessarily have to learn another language. Preference to individuals who graduated from a Montana high school. The award is not limited to a student studying in any particular discipline, but the recipient must be eligible for financial aid, have earned at least 45 semester credits, be working toward a bachelor’s degree and have a grade point average of at least 3.25. Preference shall be given to students who plan to spend an entire academic year abroad; but at the least, the recipient must commit to one semester. 3. Additional Requirement: It is required that a letter from the recipient stating his/her goals and expectations for studying abroad be written to the donors and given to the Davidson Honors College to forward to the donors before the money is released. A letter written to the donors upon return from abroad describing the recipient’s experiences would be appreciated. 4. Renewability: This scholarship is to be non-renewable.
