James M. Wylder Presidential Leadership Scholarship

The Fund will provide annual scholarships to two University of Montana undergraduate students in the Davidson Honors College according to the following guidelines: To be awarded to graduates of Montana high schools who are pursuing any of the following majors: biochemistry, biology, any major at the college of business, chemistry, computer science, doctor of pharmacy (first four years), economics, forestry, geosciences, mathematics, medical laboratory science, microbiology, neuroscience, pharmaceutical sciences, physics, registered nursing, and wildlife biology. Awards shall be based on merit, as judged by character, ability and academic performance. In combination with the Presidential Leadership Scholarship tuition waiver, the scholarship awards shall be sufficient to cover the full cost of estimated tuition, fees, room, board, books and supplies, as determined by the UM Office of Financial Aid, for an undergraduate Montana resident. This scholarship is renewable for three additional years, provided the recipients continue to meet the above criteria and remain qualified for a Presidential Leadership Scholarship at the University of Montana.
