Nettie Weber Creative Writing Award

The purpose of the Nettie Weber Creative Writing Award is to enhance the opportunities and further the artistic aspirations and development of creative writing students at UM by helping to defray the costs of attending a writing workshop anywhere in the continental United States. Recipients of the award must be prose writers or poets (alternate between the two if needed). They may be undergraduate or graduate students and are to be selected on submission of five poems, a creative nonfiction essay, one short story or a chapter from a novel.
